Yes, I left that one in here on purpose. It’s your first computer program, and if you are a geek, you know this. Well, at least if you’re a computer geek, you know this. There are many kinds of geeks, and I am several, but I suppose “computer” is at the top of the list. Maybe I should add that as a category to further delineate topics.
So, that being said, this is not my theme. Why, since I am a geek, did I not write my own theme? Because I’ve had this URL for nearly two years, and have put nothing on the site. The road to site-lessness is also paved with good intentions, apparently. So I picked one I like, and I’ll probably futz with it a bit. Eventually. In the mean time, I can finally have content. I wasn’t quite sure what that would be, but a blog seems a good place to start. I do have things I want to say about Girlness, Geekness, and the intersection of the two.
And on the Geekness topic, what’s up with the dearth of proper image floats in WP themes? That was one of the top criteria I had for a theme, and WordPress doesn’t have a sorting option for ”proper image floats”. Anyway, this theme has them, though you can’t see that here because I have no images in a post. Yet.
Yes, there was another geek reference thrown in there, if you can find it, and it may reflect upon how long you have been a (computer) geek, if you are one. One of the things I will work on here is my facility with ending a post. Properly, rather than just stopping.
